At Spa City Cello Studio, students learn using the Suzuki method for cello. Lessons are weekly, group classes offered.
My journey began in 4th grade when I first heard the beautiful soothing sounds of the cello. From that moment on, all I wanted to do was to produce those same sounds. It was through my training at Suzuki Institutes that I learned about Dr. Shinichi Suzuki and his passion for tone production. I try to keep his memory eternal by teaching his wonderful method of teaching children and young adults to play the cello. Dr. Suzuki based his approach on the belief that “Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed. Any child that is properly trained can develop musical ability, just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue. The potential is unlimited”.
The Suzuki method is a cooperation among teacher, parent, and student to provide support in learning with love and compassion. We use repetition and listening as tools to help the student progress.

From South:
Take I-87 north towards Saratoga Springs to exit 13 for Saratoga Springs. Head North on Route 9, this becomes South Broadway. Take left onto W. Fenlon St. Cross Rt. 50 at the light. Take a right onto West Ave. Then take right onto Grand Ave. House is on the right, about 500 feet from the West Ave. intersection.
From North:
Exit 15 to Route 50. This takes you to Broadway in Saratoga Springs. Take a right at Congress Street, which turns into Grand Avenue at the first light. Go straight on until you find house number 272 on left side of the road.
